Valuables, Lost property and Security

Do not bring valuable items into College with you. The College cannot be held responsible if they get lost or stolen.

Mobile phones must not be used in College time, and it is safer to leave them at home. If you must bring them, keep them in your bag out of sight and keep them switched off.

Please take any lost property you find to the office.

Most people are trustworthy and honest, but sadly some are no. If you see a stranger around the College that looks suspicious- tell a teacher.

Do not speak to strangers on the way to or from College.

Do not accept lifts from people you don't know.

When using the Internet, never give away information about yourself, or arrange to meet with someone you have met in a chat room.

Absence from College

All absence from College must be covered by a letter on return to College, and by a phone call on the first day of absence.

Parents must note that holidays should not be taken in term time, and that permission cannot be granted for such absences.
