As a College we feel it is important that we should work in partnership with parents to provide the best possible education for every child who attends Frank F. Harrison. As part of this partnership we think that parents should know what they can expect from the College and what the College expects from parents and children. This document below is an agreement which explains what each party should contribute.
The Agreement:
The parents:
I/We shall try to:
- See that my child goes to College regularly, on time and properly equipped
- Let the College know about concerns or problems that might affect my child's work or behaviour
- Support the College's policies and guidelines for behaviour and attendance
- Support my child in homework and other opportunities for home learning
- Attend Parent's Evening and discussions about my child's progress
- Get to know about my child's life at College
The Pupil:
I shall try to:
- Attend College regularly and on time
- Bring all equipment I need every day
- Wear College uniform and be tidy in appearance
- Do all my classwork and homework as well as I can
- Be polite and helpful
- Try to keep the College tidy and free from litter and graffiti
The College
